Rasa – The director of the Qasim ibn al-Husayn Seminary advised people to take advantage of opportunities offered by the holy month of Ramadan, saying that a guest should sit close to his host.

RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mohammad-Baqer Alamolhoda, the director of the Qasim ibn al-Husayn Seminary in Tehran, said the holy month of Ramadan is the month of God and the month that the servants of God sit directly at His table and are able to touch the mercy of God in the world before the Day of Judgement from up close.

 

His Eminence added that during this month, the servants of God have been invited to be His guests  and according to this, they must acknowledge that being a guest has certain customs and the guest must respect the host’s privacy and limits to be good guests and be successful.

 

He said that the most important condition of being a guest is to gain the satisfaction of the host so that they do not become upset by their guests and break the privacy of their guest and do not expel them from the benevolent table. When someone goes to another person’s house as a guest, the flowers that he takes with him should be to the satisfaction of the host,” he said.

 

Hujjat al-Islam Alamolhoda said that cleansing oneself of moral vices was the best investment for the holy month of Ramadan one should follow the best manners as a host. If the heart is cleaned from moral vices, man can attain the best God-given capital through His mercy,” His Eminence said.

 

The scholar said that it is necessary to observe the manners of servitude to enter the holy month of Ramadan and that the bouquet that man carries into the Ramadan is a form of practice and preparation for the guests of God before this month. That is, before the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, one should observe the manners of servitude in life and adjust his behaviour. 

 

The director of the Qasim ibn al-Husayn Seminary also advised people to take advantage of opportunities offered by the holy month of Ramadan, saying that a guest should sit close to the host and in order to gain closeness to God, a believer should recite the Holy Quran, recite supplications and prayers, including Abu Hamzah al-Thumali and become close to the host through sincerity.
