RNA – Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani has issued a statement in regard to the painful events that are occurring in the Islamic world.

In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
With great sorrow, we have received news from all over the Muslim world that people have been tyrannized by the oppressors and imperialists, which are headed by the evil United States [government], international Zionism and their regional agents. From the Shi’as of Pakistan to the oppressed people of Palestine, people are suffering from the oppression of Takfiri groups throughout the Islamic world.
On one hand, the oppressed Shi’as of Bahrain are suffering from atrocious attacks by the [kingdom’s] imperialist rulers [The Al Khalifah Dynasty] who have the medal of servitude to the United States hung around their neck. They are subject to gross human rights violations and an example of this is the recent extension of [Bahraini opposition leader] Shaykh Ali Salman’s prison sentence from four years to nine years.
On the other hand, Takfiri groups, including ISIL, in Iraq and Syria are causing irreparable damage to the image of Islam.
We also warn all Muslims, both Sunni and Shi’a, to establish unity and harmony with respect to the crimes being committed in Iraq, Pakistan, Bahrain, Yemen, Syria and Palestine and we say to the leaders of arrogant powers that the era of oppression, injustice and inequality will come to an end.
God-willing, soon everyone’s scroll will be will be rolled up. We also call on the arrogant powers to remove their hands from the supporting the imperialist powers and colonizers and disengage from path of falsehood that they have chosen for themselves and defend the oppressed of the world.
To Pakistani officials, as well as international organizations, we emphasize that they must immediately act to end the recent painful events.
