RNA – “Addressing and paying attention to people’s living conditions is the government’s top priority,” President Hassan Rouhani said in a meeting with Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Vahid-Khorasani. 

 

During the meeting that took place on Friday, President Rouhani also said: “Today with the government’s efforts, there is a good opportunity and atmosphere for economic activities and interaction with foreign countries.”

 

He also gave a report on the government’s performance in various fields and continued: “The government could run the country in 1394 without borrowing despite the poor conditions of the global economy and the sharp decline in oil prices.”

 

Stressing government’s educational, cultural and academic measures, President Rouhani added: “Protecting people’s culture, morality and beliefs, especially that of adolescents and young adults is one of government’s chief issues.”

 

On the need to confront the promotion of Iranophobia, he went on saying: “Today the world knows that Iran is pursuing logic and constructive interaction and is a pioneer in fighting takfiri and terrorist groups.”

 

At the meeting, Ayatollah Vahid-Khorasani also wished the government success in serving people and said: “You will solve all problems by trusting and resorting to God.”

 

“We should speak softly to the world and have constructive interaction with it,” Ayatollah Vahid-Khorasani added, underscoring more efforts on the side of officials to solve employment and marriage problems for the youth.”
