RNA – “Iran’s exemplary security and stability in the region is beholden to military and law-enforcement forces’ attempts,” President Hassan Rouhani said at a meeting with Grand Ayatollah Mohammad-Ali Alavi-Gorgani.
During the meeting that took place on Friday, President Rouhani appreciated the viewpoints of the sources of emulation and their support of the government in various sectors and reported on the measures taken by the government in improving the economic conditions of the country and having constructive interaction with the world.
He also expressed hope that the government undertake its onerous duties with guidance from clerics and seminaries, relying on unity and integrity between people and the government.
At the meeting, Ayatollah Alavi-Gorgani stressed patience and resistance against hardships and said: “In serving people, one should stand against problems.”
Underlining improving people’s living conditions, he mentioned the government’s significant achievements and added: “Despite these achievements, people expect more from President Rouhani who is a distinguished figure both as a cleric and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and, therefore, the government’s more efforts in solving people’s problems in different fields, especially in agriculture and production is necessary.”
He also underscored that the officials should pay serious attention to social issues and in preserving Islamic morality in the society.
