President Rouhani in meeting with Ayatollah Sobhani:
Rasa – “We will have a year full of blessings through unity, empathy and support from clerics, the sources of emulation and also the government’s plans,” President Rouhani at a meeting with Ayatollah Sobhani said.
RNA – “We will have a year full of blessings through unity, empathy and support from clerics, the sources of emulation and also the government’s plans,” President Hassan Rouhani said at a meeting with Grand Ayatollah Ja’far Sobhani said.
During the meeting that took place on Friday, President Rouhani added: “The government is attempting to create conditions for the banks to work based on Islamic laws and it seeks help from the great sources of emulation.”
At the meeting, Ayatollah Sobhani stressed the need for the banking system to conform to Islamic law.
“I always pray for government’s success,” he added.
Ayatollah Sobhani also gave President Rouhani two sets of books as a gift.
