RNA – Ayatollah Sayyed Ahmad Khatami stated that the first aspect of allegiance to the ‘Imam of the Time’ is allegiance to the Prophet Muhammad and allegiance to the Prophet is also an oath of allegiance to God Almighty.
Ayatollah Khatami noted: “Allegiance to Imam al-Mahdi is allegiance to the religion, the Quran, spirituality and the bringing of religion is the text of life. The test of religion is a difficult test, especially in the time of the occultation of the Imam and in the current time.”
In other remarks, the member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom explained that in the current era, cyberspace has been used as a tool in the hands of those who target religion, morality, chastity and purity – not only in our country but rather, there has been cultural invasion throughout the world which has been established by the United States and exported around the world.
Ayatollah Khatami stressed that nobody can deny that the imperialism and arrogant global powers stand against the supremacy of Islam and Shi’ism and the Ahlul-Bayt, saying: “The enemies want to make the people lose their values and their religion but this community which loves Ashura and Imam al-Mahdi will not allow the US to gain even the tiniest power and influence in the country of Imam al-Mahdi.”
