Rasa – Meeting with a Turkish mayor, the Friday prayer leader of Tabriz stressed upon the necessity of Islamic unity and promotion of cultural programs as means to strengthen the Islamic resistance front.

RNA – In a meeting with the mayor of the Turkish city of Kars, Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Mojtahed-Shabestari, the representative of the Supreme Leader in the Iran’s East Azerbaijan Province, highlighted the importance of unity among all Muslim states and said unity and cooperation among different Islamic countries will boost the Islamic resistance front.

 

He underlined the importance of resistance against enemies of Islam and warned against efforts of the enemies to damage the body of Islam in a bid to weaken Muslims and Islamic states.


 
“Terrorist groups in the region were created and are supported by the arrogant powers of the world in order to undermine the reputation of Muslims and destroying the infrastructure of
the Islamic world,” the Friday prayer leader of Tabriz said.


 
The cleric also noted that the strengthening of terrorist groups in the Middle East region is an endeavour to make Islamic countries insecure and demanded that Muslim rulers to confront the issue.


 
Ayatollah Mojtahed-Shabestari stressed that unity and cooperation of all Islamic countries will disappoint the enemies and noted, “Unity will certainly lead to empowerment, determination and victory of Islam against the enemies.”


 
The Iranian cleric hailed health and security as two great blessings of God Almighty saying, “Terrorism has brought massacre of the civilians, particularly Muslims.” 

 

He urged Turkey and all Muslim countries to spare no effort to confront  terrorism.
 

 

The member of Iran’s Parliamentary Assembly of Experts highlighted expansion of cultural activities and called for promotion of different cultural programs.
