RNA – Speaking to visitors from the Basij camp, “Awaiters of Martyrdom” in Qom, Hujjat al-Islam Hoseyn Mollanouri said that religious propagation is a very valuable act and it is mentioned in the narrations of the Ahlul-Bayt that it has great rewards.

The teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom pointed to the importance of responding to the people’s religious questions and added: “Missionaries, religious and cultural activists should put special efforts toward answering the people’s religious questions.”

He stated that the increase of activities promoting atheism in cyberspace is an important issue that must be given consideration and said: “Many channels, each with several thousand members, are trying to use science to deny the existence of God and in this way, they promote atheism. Therefore, we should not be indifferent to the volume of questions and doubts in this regard.”

Hujjat al-Islam Mollanouri referred to the Prophet Muhammad’s method of interacting with the people and said: “The Noble Prophet accepted people as they were and then engaged in guiding them. Thus, we must also accept our audience as they are and not in the way we want them to be.”

The Iranian scholar added that Muslims should not be limited to a particular group or class and we must not consider those who do not attend mosques and events as non-Muslims.

The deputy of the Department of Propagation in the Islamic Seminary noted that Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq even invited those who drank alcohol to his house and thus, his good actions toward them led to their guidance.

Also speaking at the meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Mahdi Moslemifar added that officials of Basij bases and mosque associations must bear responsibility for training their administrators.

He added that we must recognize the interests and abilities of members of cultural associations and give them with appropriate responsibilities so that they can obtain the necessary skills to manage a variety of situations in their lives.
