A coordinated meeting of active committees at the Health Jihad Camp emphasized the need for greater presence of seminarians to help those affected by the Coronavirus.

RNA – A coordinated meeting of active committees was held at the Health Jihad Camp and was attended by officials from the seminal institutions at the Centre for the Guidance of the Resistance Economy.

According to the report, Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad-Hasan Zamani, the head of the Political and Social Office of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran, emphasized that all of the seminaries must further serve the people in the face of the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in Iran and said, “From the first day of the spread of the Coronavirus, the authorities of the various religious and jihadi institutions immediately came to scene. To address this problem and to serve in a better and stronger manner, they took fourteen major steps, including establishing several committees and dispatching groups of clergymen and seminarians to distribute health packages and health services to people’s houses.”

He said, “Because of the expanding work of the dispatch committee, more jihadi forces are needed from among the seminarians and university students and it’s necessary for all Basiji seminarians, clerics and university students to announce their preparation to prevent the virus from spreading and to serve the people in the Forqani and Kamkar hospitals and distribute hygiene and health data-x-items with the committee.”

Hujjat al-Islam Yousefi, the head of the Centre for the Guidance of the Resistance Economy, also emphasized the cooperation of all seminal institutions, seminarians and university students to help remove the Coronavirus and distribute hygiene and health data-x-items in Qom and added, “Today, we’re in a very sensitive situation, including attacks against the Islamic Seminaries, clerics and Qom by the enemies and some Western officials and these individuals, under various pretexts, are making insubstantial statements and inciting the people against the Islamic Seminaries and Qom.”

He said, “We don’t believe that the Coronavirus has spread from Qom but we believe that Qom was the first province to detect the virus early on and notify the officials. Given the current situation where [certain individuals and groups] have avowed to the public and society that the Coronavirus has spread from the Islamic Seminaries and Qom, we must provide a suitable model of prevention for the country to eliminate it.”

Hujjat al-Islam Yousefi said, “In this regard, the Islamic Seminaries and Qom are as oppressed as before and it’s necessary to get out of this oppression and enter the battlefield to defend the Islamic Seminaries and to properly distribute hygiene and health data-x-items among the people and continue to demand the authorities to send hygiene and health data-x-items to Qom.”
