We must close the loopholes so the enemies and Satan can’t penetrate

RNA – In a speech before the Friday prayer sermon held at Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall Hujjat ‎al-Islam Sayyed Hoseyn Momeni, a teacher at Qom’s Ma’soumeh Seminary, considered one ‎of the most important matters in the path of servitude to God as recognizing the enemies ‎and said, “Satan is the sworn and obvious enemy of mankind and wants to distance mankind ‎from the straight path.”‎

He added, “Mankind must have the necessary knowledge of Satan’s loopholes and tools of ‎deviation which he uses to penetrate and to stand against them. Satan wants to dominate ‎over and divert man with his tools. For this reason, understanding the loopholes Satan uses ‎to penetrate and his tools of deviation is very important.”‎

Hujjat al-Islam Momeni stated that recognition of the enemies in operations is the first word ‎and added, “One must know who the enemies are and which loopholes they use to ‎penetrate and by what means and hostility they will act with. If man knows these things he ‎can gain dominance over Satan and can close Satan and the enemies’ means to penetrate.” ‎

His Eminence added, “Satan attacks people from various positions to keep servants away ‎from servitude and thanksgiving to God and to push them into the abject valley of ‎polytheism so that they can always see the empty part and not pay attention to the issues.”‎

He said, “Of course, our possessions and blessings are greater than our lack of possessions ‎but Satan wants to change that so that we don’t give thanks to God. If man is continually ‎thankful to God, he will find some success in his material and spiritual affairs.”‎

Hujjat al-Islam Momeni ‎noted, “Satan’s sorrow is to deviate mankind by exaggerating ‎afflictions and minimizing the blessings of mankind. One of the his endeavours is to portray ‎the hereafter as unimportant in the eyes of mankind.”‎
