RNA - "The army's convoy, consisting of hundreds of forces and several vehicles and military equipment, was sent to Syria's Badiyeh region, specially areas near T2 Station and Hamimeh region, at the administrative borderline between Homs and Deir Ezzur," field sources in Eastern Syria said on Thursday.
Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.
Deir Ezzur-Homs
The Syrian army dispatched a big military convoy to Badiyeh region to prepare for the final battle against the ISIL in Eastern Syria and establish security at borders with Iraq.
Field sources in Eastern Syria reported on Thursday that the army's convoy, consisting of hundreds of forces and several vehicles and military equipment, was sent to Syria's Badiyeh region, specially areas near T2 Station and Hamimeh region, at the administrative borderline between Homs and Deir Ezzur.
They added that the Syrian army has strengthened its positions in the region in the past few days, noting that the measure was adopted in line with preparations to purge the ISIL from Southeastern Deir Ezzur and Eastern Homs in Badiyeh region.
Security would prevail in Albu Kamal international road near the borders with Iraq after the Syrian army's cleansing operations against the ISIL in the region.
Hama
Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the al-Nusra Front) terrorist group destroyed an important bridge in Northern Hama to block the Syrian army's path into the region amid increased tensions in the demilitarized zone and army's possible military operations.
Local sources in Northwestern Hama reported on Wednesday that Tahrir al-Sham terrorists detonated al-Tuwaineh bridge in Sahl al-Qab which linked the region to the army-controlled areas.
They added that the terrorists are preparing for the Syrian army's possible operations in Idlib province, noting that they wanted to prevent the army troops' advance in the region.
The sources also said that Tahrir al-Sham is fearful of public support for the Syrian army and has evacuated the town of Eastern Halban near Ma'arat al-Numan and the village of al-Sayadah in the Eastern parts of Jorjanaz region in contact lines with the Syrian army.
Now the Syrian army's military operations in the demilitarized zone in Northern Syria has grown more likely than ever given the militant groups' refusal to leave the region and their continued attacks against safe zones and army's military points.
