The Damascus Army fended off heavy attacks by terrorists from the demilitarized zone on military-controlled areas in Southern Aleppo, Northern Hama and Southern Idlib.

RNA - "The Syrian army units engaged in fierce clashes with Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) and Horras al-Din terrorists who intended to infiltrate into the military areas in Khan Touman in Southern Aleppo," the Arabic-language service of Sputnik reported on Saturday.

The Syrian army troops launched heavy artillery and missile attacks on Tahrir al-Sham and Turkistani terrorists' positions and moves in the towns of Shahrnaz, Sahab, al-Ankawi, al-Hawiz, al-Shariat, Qal'at al-Maziq, al-Hawijeh and Tal Hawash in Northern and Northwestern Hama.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

Aleppo-Hama

The Syrian army warded off heavy attacks by terrorists from the demilitarized zone on military-controlled areas in Southern Aleppo, Northern Hama and Southern Idlib.

The Arabic-language service of Sputnik reported on Saturday that the Syrian army units engaged in fierce clashes with Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at and Horras al-Din terrorists who intended to infiltrate into the military areas in Khan Touman in Southern Aleppo.

It added that the army's artillery units also launched repeated attacks on terrorists and their supply routes in Tal Mamo, Zamar, Khaseh, al-Muhandesin and Awaram al-Kobra in Southern and Western Aleppo, repelling their offensive.

Meantime, the Syrian army troops launched heavy artillery and missile attacks on Tahrir al-Sham and Turkistani terrorists' positions and moves in the towns of Shahrnaz, Sahab, al-Ankawi, al-Hawiz, al-Shariat, Qal'at al-Maziq, al-Hawijeh and Tal Hawash in Northern and Northwestern Hama towards the Syrian army positions, inflicting heavy losses on militants and destroying a number of their strongholds and vehicles.

The army troops in Southern Idlib targeted the movements and hideouts of Jeish al-Izza terrorists near the towns of al-Latamineh and Kafr Zita with artillery and missile fire, smashing their gathering centers and positions used to attack the Syrian army.

Eastern Euphrates

The US-backed Kurdish militants received state-of-the-art weapons and military equipment, including Israeli arms in Eastern Euphrates, the Arabic-language media reports said.

The pro-militant Arabic-language Al-Khabor news agency quoted informed sources as saying that the US-led coalition has delivered new military and logistical supports through Simalka crossing to its allied Kurdish fighters in Eastern Syria.

It noted that the said military shipment included advanced missiles, US air defense systems, Israeli anti-Tank Spike missiles, shoulder-mounted surface-to-air Stinger missiles and drones.

The advanced weapons delivered to the Kurdish fighters were transferred to a clandestine depot near Ramilan Airbase in Hasaka province which is guarded by the US marine forces and Kurdish fighters.

Deir Ezzur

A number of civilians holding peaceful protests were killed and injured by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Deir Ezzur province in Eastern Syria, sources said.

Hundreds of residents of al-Zaman town and the city of al-Basira in Eastern Deir Ezzur continued their protests against the SDF for the third day in the row, the Arabic-language media quoted battlefield sources as saying.

The sources said that the civilians called for exit of SDF fighters by closing the roads leading to these regions.

Meantime, it was reported that at least three civilians were killed and several others were wounded in SDF's shootout at protesters.

People in Eastern Deir Ezzur have taken to the streets to protest at the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces, and forced SDF militants and commanders out of the region.

Idlib

Over 10 Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at terrorists were killed in clashes with people during their protest rallies in Idlib.

The Kurdish-language Hawar news quoted local sources in Idlib province as saying on Saturday that clashes between residents of the village of Farwan in Southeastern Idlib and Tahrir al-Sham killed 12 militants and destroyed their military vehicles.

They added that the clashes erupted after Tahrir al-Sham terrorists attacked the village to capture a number of residents but they faced people's resistance.

The report said that Tahrir al-Sham sent more militants and military equipment to the village after the death of its members.
