The Turkish Army strengthened its military positions in areas under its occupation in Afrin region in Northwestern Aleppo and set up another military base for Jeish al-Islam terrorists, the Kurdish-language media reported on Wednesday.

Aleppo

The Kurdish-language Hawar News quoted local sources in Afrin as saying that the Ankara Army is presently setting up 3-meter walls in the surrounding areas of its command centers in the villages of Afrin region, specially in the villages bordering al-Shahba region.

The report pointed to an attempt by the Turkish Army to destroy people's houses, administrative buildings, schools and water reservoirs North of Jalbareh village in Shirva, and said that the occupying army intends to set a new military base in the same region.

Meantime, informed sources reported that the Turkish troops are establishing a command center and a camp for Jeish al-Islam terrorists near Kawa al-Haddad Square.

They also said that the Jeish al-Islam terrorists are meant to use the camp for training their militants.

Hama, Idlib

The Syrian Army heavily pounded Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the al-Nusra Front) terrorists' military positions and movements in Northern Hama and Southern Idlib over the past 24 hours, destroying their arms and ammunition depots.

The Syrian Army offensives came in response to Tahrir al-Sham's attacks on the villages of al-Jaydeh, al-Aziziyeh, al-Rasif and al-Karim in Northern and Northwestern Hama.  

The Damascus Army's missile and artillery units attacked the terrorists' military positions and movements near the towns of Shar-e Naz, al-Hawiz, al-Shariyeh, al-Maziq Castle in Northern Hama.

Meantime, a battlefield source said that during the attacks, several key military positions of the terrorists, including arms and ammunition caches as well as their military equipment were destroyed and a number of militants were killed.

In Southern Idlib, the Syrian Army heavily pounded Tahrir al-Sham's military positions in Jorjnaz town East of Ma'arat al-Numan town, destroying several of their military positions near the safe zone in Northern Hama and killing several terrorists.

Dara'a

The Syrian Army discovered a cache of arms and military equipment, including the US and Israeli weapons, during cleansing operations against remnants of the terrorists West of Dara'a province.

The Syrian Army's engineering units found depots of weapons and military equipment, including large amount of weapons such as sniper rifles, machineguns, artillery canons, mortar rounds, hand grenades, rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs) and wireless equipment, left behind by the terrorists in Dara'a province.  

Meantime, a military source said that the Syrian Army discovered a large amount of US-made guided anti-tank missiles and Israeli weaponry and equipment.

The US, Israel and other western states have helped the terrorist groups in Syria logistically and financially.

Deir Ezzur

The Syrian Army and Air Force have started purging the Eastern province of Deir Ezzur of the remnants of the ISIL terrorist group to maintain security at Syria's border with Iraq, sources said.

The Syrian Army troops engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIL terrorists in Haribsheh and Shoula Desert in Southeastern Deir Ezzur, killing several of the militants, battlefield sources in Eastern Deir Ezzur said.

The sources said that the Syrian Army is trying to purge the remnants of the terrorists from the surrounding areas of Bukamal and along the borders with Iraq through the operation in Southeastern Deir Ezzur.

They, meantime, said that the Syrian Army has managed to cleanse Palmyra Badiyeh (desert) in the outskirts of al-Sukhna in Eastern Homs from terrorists.
