RNA – Hujjat al-Islam Hoseyn Habibi-Tabar, the director of the Jurisprudential Centre of the Pure Imams in Qom, spoke at a ceremony in which 75 books were unveiled and referred to the philosophy of honouring academic elites and stated, “This conference was held in order to unveil the efforts and publications of Jurisprudential Centre of the Pure Imams.”
Referring to the necessity of establishing this centre, he stated, “After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the establishment of the Islamic Republic and the issuance of a message of anti-imperialism to other Muslim countries and the emergence of Islamic Awakening in other Islamic countries, the Zionists and the United States saw all of their plans blow away with the wind. Therefore, in order to plunder the interests and resources of Muslims, they put the slogan ‘divide and rule’ into action.”
Referring to the plans of the lackeys of the United States in the region, he said, “Today, the fact that the lackey’s of Saudi Arabia are the lackey’s of the United States in the region is clear to everyone, such that they admit this to the American and Zionist leaders.”
Hujjat al-Islam Habibi-Tabar said, “Saudi terrorists and other American puppets and the Zionist regime in the region did two jobs. First, they engaged in primitivism and Islamophobia and then, through the cruelty of their hearts and massacring Muslims and innocent people, they brutally endangered the infrastructure of Islamic countries.”
His Eminence argues that combating this great danger to the entire Islamic world, especially in the seminary, is obligatory and said, “Combating the Salafi ideology and Takfiri-Wahhabism must be done though cultural means, although military confrontation is also necessary, but is not enough.”
He said, “The late Ayatollah Mohammad Fazel-Lankarani felt threatened by the reactionary ideology of Wahhabism and Saudi Arabia, and ordered the establishment of this specialized centre in order to confront the devious Wahhabi ideology.”
Referring to the achievements of the Jurisprudential Centre of the Pure Imams, he stated, “Following Ayatollah Fazel-Lankarani’s intentions, this institute was founded in 2004 and has made great achievements and successes to date.”
In conclusion, Hujjat al-Islam Habibi-Tabar said that a rational approach to confronting Wahhabi beliefs has begun and said, “Wahhabism is considered as a factor in the division among Muslims in the region. Hence, cultural programs, such as the compilation of Islamic books in different languages, are indispensable in confronting this ideology. Therefore, the authors and researchers of the Jurisprudential Centre of the Pure Imams have compiled books in the Arabic, Persian and Urdu languages.”
