RNA – Speaking during his Friday prayer sermon in the Lebanese village of Ta’labaya, Shaykh Ali al-Khatib, the vice chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of Lebanon, praised the continuing intifada of the Palestinian people and said, “As long as there is such a brave and courageous nation that stands against oppression and allegiance, we can hope to regain the right of the Arabs and Muslims.”
He emphasized that the sacrifices of the Palestinian people need the support of all nations and governments, because helping the oppressed and confronting the tyrants is a human, moral, and religious duty.
“It is not permissible for Arabs, Muslims and Christians to forget their duties of helping the Palestinian people and liberating the sacred lands from the Zionists and establish an independent Palestinian state in al-Quds capital after the return of the refugees,” the vice chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of Lebanon said.
