RNA – Speaking at a meeting with a group of seminary students who are to attend the Arba’in walk this year, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mortaza Fatemiyan, a lecturer in the Islamic Seminary of Qom, said, “The topmost goal of Arba’in pilgrimage is to strengthen unity and integrity among Muslims. This holy event promotes kindness, enthusiasm and friendship within Muslim community. Therefore, we must appreciate this great opportunity and do our best to preserve it.”
The lecturer in the Islamic Seminary of Qazvin further added, “Today, millions of lovers of the Ahlul-Bayt from around the world and belonging to different religions and beliefs and whose lives have been touched by the teachings of Imam Husayn, from every walk of life, attend the Arba’in walk and pay their respect to Imam Husayn.”
“The history has never seen such a great pilgrimage as Arba’in walk. This is truly a manifestation of the unity within Islamic world resulted from victory of the Islamic Revolution under the leadership of late Imam Khomeyni,” Hujjat al-Islam Fatemiyan added.
The Shi’ah cleric also highlighted the spiritual aspects of Arba’in pilgrimage saying, “According to Islamic narrations, the main purpose of this pilgrimage is to promote one’s virtues and to attend to spiritual aspects of this journey.”
