RNA – Speaking on the sidelines of the November 4th demonstrations against the imperialistic powers of the world which was held in the Iranian city of Qom on November 3, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, the chairman of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, stated, “By the grace of God almighty, the younger generation are more resilient and aware compared to the older generations in their resolve to preserve the Islamic Revolution and its legacy, the younger generations are also more persistent in their fight against the imperialist powers of the worl and they are even willing to sacrifice their lives for that cause.”
November 4th marks the National Day of Fighting the Imperialist Powers” in Iran and marks the anniversary of the 1979 takeover of the American embassy in Tehran by a group of revolutionary students.
Stating that the ceremonies to commemorate November 4th serve as a reminder to preserve and propagate Iran’s revolutionary values, Ayatollah Araki added, “We are now approaching the end of the fourth decade after the Islamic Revolution and we can clearly see that people of Iran are more determined than ever before to maintain their revolutionary thoughts and attitudes.”
The member of Assembly of Experts further referred to Iranians’ awareness and wisdom in the face of the West’s evil plots and conspiracies and added, “In the past, we have seen that the United States and other imperialist world powers have attempted to defeat our nation by any means such as planning coup d’états, assassinating our prominent figures and they even initiated a war against our country which lasted for eight years, but by the grace of God Almighty, they failed in their vicious plots.”
Ayatollah Araki added, “Nowadays the enemies have embarked on a new strategy in order to achieve their objectives, that is engaging in a soft war against the Islamic Republic of Iran through cultural invasion and their media networks.”
