RNA – Addressing the Movement for the Protection of Pakistan protest camp in front of the National Press Club, the Central Secretary-General of Pakistan’s Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen, Allamah Rajah Nasir Abbas Ja'fari said that if our demands are not implemented as per promises made with us then we will stage a protest sit-in in front of the house of the Chief Minister of Punjab on September 2.

Pakistan’s top Shi’a cleric said: “All central leaders and a large number of activists across the country will be part of this protest. The government should not have any misconceptions. Our protest camp is still functional. The slow implementation of accepted demands by the government are become a worry for us. The government should immediately redress our apprehensions.”

Answering a question regarding the National Action Plan, Allamah Ja’fari said that unless all points of this plan are not implemented, the objectives of operation against terrorism could not be achieved. The time of juggling words to create confusion in the minds of people has passed. Now national situation is demanding practical steps. For the success of Operation Zarb-e-Azab, it is essential that the National Action Plan is implemented according to its latter and spirit.

In regard to Imran Khan, the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf, he said that by neglecting the people of the province where he has his own government will become a political loss for Khan. Khan has no time to visit the homes of martyred victims of terrorism incidents.

He said that this attitude is a cause of anxiety and worry for people. Khan should revisit his conduct and behaviour.

The Central Secretary-General of the Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen said that Narendra Modi wants to destabilize our country by interfering in the internal matters of Pakistan. “The recent address of the Indian Prime Minister regarding Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Baluchistan are direct interferences in our internal matters, which should be strongly condemned,” he said.

Allamah Ja’fari said that after Modi’s speech, everyone has known that who is behind the continued terrorism in Pakistan and for that no more evidence is needed. It is required that voice at international forums should be raised on India’s serious violation of diplomatic norms.

“India’s aggression in Indian-occupied Kashmir has made the lives of the people hell. Scenes of barbarism by the Indian forces are present on media. Human rights internal organizations should take strict notice of this oppression,” he said.
