RNA – At this meeting which was held in the Wilayat Hall of the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Ridha, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ebrahim Raeisi, invited young students to look at the truth, and free deliberation on events of the world and said, “Today, the hegemonic powers would not spare any attempt to divert public opinion, limiting thoughts, preventing freedom of thought, and devotion to God.”
The member of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminary of Khorasan described Iran as “the world’s harbinger to maintain human dignity” and stressed: “What has been Iran’s dispute with the hegemonic powers is the protection of human dignity. Dignity is a matter that the hegemonic powers in Palestine, Syria, Yemen and Iraq has been oppressing for years.”
The board member of the Assembly of Experts mentioned pilgrimage in the presence of an Infallible Imam as a valuable opportunity for human capacity-building and said that the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Ridha is school for great human-making and capacity-building.
He stated, “Pilgrimage is an opportunity that mankind could exploit to enhance their intellectual capacities against the invasion of vulgar culture from the West and protects ethics during a cultural invasion.”
“The innate dignity was the divine grace, which the God Almighty has placed in all humans,” he added.
In another part of his speech, Hujjat al-Islam Raesi pointed to the place of human dignity and two types of “innate” and “adaptive” dignities, saying: “However, the aspect that makes human excellence and leads to felicity, is the adaptive dignity that except in the light of the teachings of the Holy Quran as the concluded book and the Prophets and Infallible Imams as spotless human beings, would not be possible.”
Noting that the Infallible Imams were speaking Qurans, he added: “If human would not be under the influence of divine teachings, the Quran and Infallible Imams, definitely cannot face the massive egoistic invasions, and outer demons.”
The member of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminary of Khorasan said that dignity can only be acquired in light of the teachings of the Quran and the Infallible Imams and stressed the need for decision-making in the pilgrimage of Imams.
He said: “The pilgrimage without decision-making is not thorough, and the biggest decision in pilgrimage of the household of the Apostle of God is the same prayer ‘I make peace with those who make their peace with you, I make war on those who go to war against you’ as the Ashura Supplication.”
Hujjat al-Islam Raesi mentioned the pilgrimage as an important ground for immunization of youths and said: “Pilgrimage is one of the most important areas of communities’ immunization, especially the youths’ generation against cultural invasions and questions of faith, and this has caused different attacks against the issue of pilgrimage.”
He introduced the immunizing nature of pilgrimage as a simple interpretation of “Golden Chain” tradition, saying: “Today, moral diversions and doubts of faith, more dangerous than Noah’s flood waves have surrounded the modern humans, and in these circumstances, the only way to save and well-ending of humanity is seeking shelter in the fortified castle of wilayat, and earning dignity from the Infallible Imams.”
