Hujjat al-Islam Haji-Sadeqi announced the establishment of a health and spirituality camp in the IRGC with the participation of the clergy to confront the Coronavirus.

The revered source of emulation on the eve of the New Year advised the people of the nation to be present at home and to avoid unnecessary travel and to adhere to health instructions.

Ayatollah Sa’idi explained the temporary closure of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah and said three sources of emulation emphasized and approved this important issue.

Hujjat al-Islam Kalantari said that knowledge and rationality are within the geometry of religious knowledge and added, “The enemies, who have been hit hard by religion, spirituality and the clergy seek to weaken religion.”

Hujjat al-Islam Montazeri said, “The Coronavirus can’t be eradicated in the country unless there is a great national resolve behind it.”

Hujjat al-Islam Arabian said that given the current situation, the people must accompany the health officials more than ever before, “The best and safest way to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus is to stay at home.”

The representative of the Supreme Leader in Kordestan added, “However, reason dictates that we obey all hygienic and safety recommendations and health warnings against the Coronavirus.”

The novel coronavirus that has killed more than 700 people in Iran so far took the life of Ayatollah Sayyed Hashem Bathaei, a member of the Assembly of Experts.

A number of members of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminaries, eminent teachers of dars al-kharij, members of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom and administrators of the Islamic Seminaries spoke with Rasa News Agency and provided healthcare and spiritual advice in regard to the Coronavirus.
