In statement of condolences, Ayatollah Arafi offered condolences to Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Maddah, who lost his pregnant wife.

The temporary Friday prayer leader of Kerman said, “The people of the country must know that the words of health officials are proof for them and that we must obey their orders so that there is no chaos in the country.”

The representative of the people of Kerman in the Assembly of Experts, added, “I thank the authorities, the medical staff, the Coronavirus headquarters and all the nurses who today are striving through self-sacrificing and dedication for the health of the people and I pray to God to grant spiritual rewards to the nurses and to all of the health authorities.”

The Friday prayer leader of Kerman, said, “Abiding by the advice of health professionals is the most important duty of the people in regard to the Coronavirus.”

The representative of Khuzestan in the Assembly of Experts said, “In this context, the health and hygiene system in Islamic worldview and ideology not only doesn’t contradict with supplication, reliance and resorting on God and spiritual attention but also spirituality and health are two sides of the same coin of the truth of monotheism.”

Hujjat al-Islam Salari-Makki said, “In order to deal with the Coronavirus, we need to observe our spiritual health in addition to personal hygiene tips and recommendations.”

In a statement, the Policy Council of Friday Prayer Leaders said that there will be no Friday prayers in the capitals of all of Iran’s provinces this week.

Member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts Ayatollah Mohsen Araki said that the intelligence services of the “evil triangle–Britain, the US, and Zionist regime” – are fomenting anti-Muslims emotions among different religious groups in India.

The representative of Khuzestan in the Assembly of Experts said, “The revolutionary seminaries are the seminaries of the era of the Islamic Revolution and the meaning of the seminaries of the era of the Islamic Revolution is the engine of the Islamic Revolution.”
