Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu revealed Saturday that his regime started drawing up maps of land in the occupied West Bank that it seeks to annex under the US so-called deal of the century.

RNA - The Palestinian leadership dismissed Israel’s new attempt to annex West Bank settlements and the Jordan valley. The spokesman for President Mahmoud Abbas said the Palestinians recognize only one map that determines the State of Palestine with its capital Jerusalem al-Quds. Nabil Abu Rudeineh said this is what the whole world recognizes in accordance with UN resolutions.

According to experts, the Israeli proposal means the Palestinians’ future state would consist of scattered lands linked together via bridges and tunnels, and this redrawn state will also be demilitarized meaning that it will be subject to Israeli control over its security.

They say the establishment of a Palestinian state on conjoined lands will be impossible then, as the new map will be giving Israel over 62 percent of the west bank lands, Palestinians want to have their state on.

On January 28, US President Donald Trump revealed the details of his so-called "deal of the century". It refers to Jerusalem al-Quds as “Israel’s undivided capital” and recognizes Israeli sovereignty over large parts of the West Bank.

Palestinians say the United States’ so-called Deal of the Century must be confronted as it leaves them with a tiny territory, surrounded by Israel on all sides. They say the American-Israeli plan cuts off Palestinians from the world and this is why all countries around the world must confront the plot.
