Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan considered US President Donald Trump’s announcement of his alleged peace plan “a natural result of multiple Zio-American steps and actions that had been taken lately”. RNA - “The Deal of the Century is part of Washington’s arrangements for the region to make it accept the Zionist occupation as a natural entity,” Hamdan said in an interview conducted with him by al-Aqsa satellite channel.
He also described Trump’s deal as “a culmination of his administration’s previous attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause”.
The Hamas official expressed his belief that the US administration seeks to force the Palestinians to give up their rights and disintegrate the region in order for the Zionist entity to maintain itself as the strongest party.
However, he noted that Trump’s project would not live for a long time on the Palestinian land, criticizing some regional parties for wagering on such project to secure new places for themselves in the region.
He also reiterated his movement’s adherence to the Palestinian rights and constants, affirming that it would never recognize the Israeli occupation state.
