RNA - The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper reported that the Syrian Army has dispatched over 1,500 troops to the towns of al-Hosseiniyeh, Hatleh, al-Salehiyeh and al-Tabieyh near the contact lines with the SDF in Eastern Deir Ezzur.
Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.
Deir Ezzur
The Syrian Army dispatched massive military equipment and military hardware to the contact lines with the US-backed Kurdish militias in Eastern Deir Ezzur as tensions between the government forces and the SDF have intensified, the Arabic-language media outlets said.
The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper reported that the Syrian Army has dispatched over 1,500 troops to the towns of al-Hosseiniyeh, Hatleh, al-Salehiyeh and al-Tabieyh near the contact lines with the SDF in Eastern Deir Ezzur.
The daily also noted that the Syrian Army troops have reinforced their military positions near al-Salehiyeh crossing located between areas under the control of the Kurds and the Syrian Army military points in Eastern Deir Ezzur.
Al-Watan also noted that the dispatch of the Syrian Army troops happened as the US-backed militias in a new provocative move attacked the Syrian Army’s military points in al-Salehiyeh and sent military equipment to near the Syrian Army’s military points in the region.
Meantime, clashes between residents of the occupied regions in Hasaka and Deir Ezzur provinces with the SDF militias have considerably increased as civilians continue protests for the expulsion of the SDF from those regions.
Idlib
The Syrian Army during its mop-up operations discovered terrorists’ underground base packed with US- and NATO-based weapons and missiles in Southern Idlib, the Arabic-language media outlets said.
According to Fars News Agency, the Arabic-language Sputnik news agency quoted a Syrian military source as saying that the Syrian Army troops discovered an underground military network of bases in al-Latameneh region which contained a main base for the deployment of about 5,000 terrorists.
It pointed to the terrorists’ attempts to launch attacks on the Syrian Army over the past four years by using foreign military equipment, and said that the government forces discovered US-made missiles, weapons and rifles made in NATO member countries.
The Syrian military sources also said that the Syrian Army also discovered a workshop used for manufacturing drones and also found several drones equipped with bombs for attacking the Syrian Army’s military units.
