He called the cowardly martyrdom of General Qasem Soleymani an insult to the Iraqi people and emphasized, “General Haj Qasem Soleymani was a guest of the Iraqi government and people and the Americans brazenly martyred the guest of a government. It’s a clear insult to that government.”
Ayatollah Khatami called Islamic Iran the benevolent brother of the Iraqi people and the expulsion of the United States from the region as the common goal of the Iranian and Iraqi people, “The Iraqi government is expected to know that their benevolent brother is Islamic Iran. Therefore, trust this brother and move towards common goals by trusting this compassionate brother, which is one of the common goals of expelling the Americans from the region.”
