Vice-Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Amir Hossein Qazizadeh said that the global arrogance uses human rights and international organizations to pursue its own objectives, and reiterated that the Iranian nation will make its utmost efforts to preserve its religious and cultural identity. Rasa - “The Iranian nation has proved that it attaches no value to what the hegemonic system pursues, rather, it seeks to preserve its own religious and cultural identity,” Qazizadeh said.
The global arrogance, its allies, and despotic regimes intend to impose their wicked demands on humans under the guise of democracy and they use the so-called legal and human rights tools and international bodies and institutes to pursue this aim, he noted.
In relevant remarks in early July, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Abbas Mousavi blasted the US for using human rights as a tool for achieving its malign aspirations and goals.
"As it is explicitly stated by the guy who spearheads American hawks’ anti-Iran agenda, to the US, human rights are just a tool in service of US malign aspirations & not a sincere concern," Mousavi wrote on his Twitter account on Wednesday July 1.
"This very logic has long allied the US with dictators, butchers & extremists," he added.
The Iranian foreign ministry spokesman also published a picture of Saddam Hussein, the former Iraqi dictator, and the US officials related to Iraqi aggression on Iran in 1983 and also about US President Donald Trump's meeting with the Saudi officials.
