Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Force Brigadier General Kiomars Heidari underlined that changes made in the nature of the forces under his command have increased their preparedness to confront all types of threats against the country. He added that the Ground Force consists of three mobile combat, rapid reaction and professional units, who are ready to combat any kind of threat now.
According to Fars News Agency, General Heidari also pointed out that the Ground Force is in possession of all necessary military equipment and produces them itself.
In relevant remarks in 2018, General Heidari announced that his forces had gained full self-sufficiency in the production of different types of weapons and military equipment, and rejected speculations of war against Iran.
"I honorably declare that the Ground Force produces its needed equipment from A to Z by itself or with the help of other defense and military forces and does not depend on foreigners," General Heidari said.
He underscored that Iran has reached a degree of deterrence and defense capability that enemies have resorted to non-military plots against the country, adding, "Iran is under the threat of no danger and we are not on the threshold of any war."
