Lieutenant Commander of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi said that Washington’s enmity against Iran is rooted in its intolerance for the anti-imperialistic causes of the Islamic Revolution, highlighting that such a war will be on overtly and covertly as long as the war between the good and the evil is on. RNA - Touching upon the motives driving Imam Khomeini’s movement against the US-backed regime of former Iranian dictator Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, Rear Admiral Fadavi said that Imam Khomeini’s movement enshrined fighting for the right, adding that the US and the global imperialism was supporting the evil which pitted Washington against the Revolution.
He underlined that the war between the good and the evil is an ongoing struggle forever, highlighting, “As the good and the evil cannot go together, they are always lined up against one another and this enmity and war is always on overtly and covertly.”
“The main feature of the Islamic Revolution is that it is rightful, and that is the main cause behind the global imperialism’s enmity against the Revolution,” he said when asked why the US was holding grudge against Iran.
He added that the US and its allies started plotting against Iran since the very early moments of the victory of the Islamic Revolution to use their conspiracies and deceits to stop or at least deviate or limit the Islamic Revolution.
According to Fars News Agancy, the commander appreciated Imam Khomeini’s wisdom and the leadership of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei for defusing and foiling anti-Iran plots.
Late in January, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani reiterated that all anti-Iran plots, including the US-backed conference in Poland, are futile, describing the Warsaw meeting as an insignificant move that would fail to trouble Iran.
Larijani said that enemies are increasingly organizing conspiracies against Iran but they cannot eliminate Islamic Revolution form the region because of its greatness.
Highlighting the increasing trend of conspiracies against Iran, Larijani noted that the upcoming conference in Poland proves that enemies cannot bear the brilliance of the Islamic Revolution.
