Ayatollah Heydari said, “The people attended the funeral and commemoration of the Martyr ‎Soleimani in such a magnificent manner because he is a symbol of Islamic resistance and ‎Islamic resistance is a symbol of the Islamic Ummah.”‎

In a message to Ayatollah Khamenei, Ayatollah al-Sistani has offered his condolences on the ‎martyrdom of Major General Qasem Soleymani.‎

Hujjat al-Islam Kalantari said that the martyrdom of Major General Qasem Soleymani would ‎boost the impetus to fight the United States and added, “The criminal act of the United ‎States was an end to its presence in the region.”‎

Hujjat al-Islam Nekounam referred to the role of Major General Qasem Soleymani in the ‎elimination of Daesh and said, “Today, the blood of this martyr will certainly provide the ‎basis for the permanent elimination of the United States.”‎

Iraq’s top Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani has strongly condemned the US assassination of Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani and his comrades, calling them the “heroes of fight against Daesh” terrorist group.

Ayatollah Sa’idi said that Trump and Netanyahu must know that they will soon receive a ‎response from the liberating and popular armies of the world for killing Major General Qasem ‎Soleymani.‎

Tehran's provisional Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ahmad Khatami blasted the US horrendous crime in Iraq, and said that the Americans will see the dire consequences of their terror attack on Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Qods Force Commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
