Ayatollah Sayyed Ahmad Khatami said that taking part in the ongoing elections in Iran is a legal and religious obligation and noted that the participation of people in polling will practically fulfill the motto of “death to America.”

Ayatollah Mortazavi Shahrudi said, “People’s participation in the election should strengthen the Islam and blind the enemies of Iran.”

The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah said, “The enemies must know that their conspiracies have the opposite effect on the people, and today, with their passionate presence, the people will clearly show this at the ballot box.”

Emphasizing on the importance of voting for fervent participation of people in the elections, Ayatollah Sobhani said, “We hope that people vote for virtuous, wise, knowing and capable candidates so that they can solve the problems.”

Ayatollah Heydari said that those who are not present in the elections provide the grounds for the insecurity of the country and added, “The country’s progress depends on a strong Islamic Consultative Assembly.”

A member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom said that people must choose representatives to the Islamic Consultative Assembly who seek to serve and don’t seek to betray the country and the nation.

Stating that participation in the election is the religious and national duty, Ayatollah Amini said, “My advice to the participants and candidates is to do their duties.”

Hujjat al-Islam Mojtahed-Shabestari said that the passionate presence and selection of worthy representatives are two of our most important duties in the upcoming election.

The revered source of emulation invited the Iranian people to participate in the upcoming legislative election in a widespread and enemy-defeating manner and considered this to be the cause of the enemies’ despair.

Ayatollah Yazdi invited the Iranian people to participate in the upcoming legislative election in a passionate manner and said, “With their passionate participation in the election, the people will disappoint the enemies and strengthen the Islamic system.”
