JCPOA didn’t bring any benefits to Iran

RNA – Speaking at the gathering by the people of Qom in support of the “Gando” television ‎series with the presence of some of those involved in this insightful series, Hujjat al-Islam ‎Mojtaba Zonnour, the chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the ‎Islamic ‎Consultative Assembly, said, “Some of people of the country were kept waiting with ‎hope in the West and in negotiations and don’t try to solve the problems.”‎

The representative of the people of Qom in the Islamic Consultative Assembly ‎continued, ‎‎“We saw in the course of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) that some in the ‎country were kept waiting due to the wrong actions of some government officials but ‎ultimately it didn’t bring any benefits to the country and it only led to loss. Those who said ‎that the some traders and businessmen wouldn’t be sanctioned, have seen the sanctions ‎multiplied and where are these officials to respond?”‎

Hujjat al-Islam Zonnour ‎referred to the powerful position taken by the Supreme Leader of ‎the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] in his meeting with Shinzō Abe, the Prime ‎Minister of Japan, on June 13, ‎said, “By observing the powerful positions of the Supreme ‎Leader and Iran’s deterrence by downing a drone and seizing a British oil tanker, the enemies ‎have recognized the power of the Islamic Republic. Today, the enemies don’t refuse to ‎invade Iran out of decency but they know that if they were to engage in mischief, the life of ‎the Zionist regime won’t last another half an hour.” ‎

In conclusion, he thanked all the intelligence agencies of the country, especially the Unknown ‎Soldiers of the Imam of Time, for arresting 17 CIA spies who were recruited by the United ‎States to spy on Iran’s nuclear and military sites and said, “We also thank the producers of ‎the ‘Gando’ serial and look forward to their production of new epics.”‎
