A prominent Iraqi scholar said, “Mourning and holding mourning ceremonies during the ‎‎month of Muharram is a good tradition and sometimes it becomes a collective obligation.”‎

A senior Iraqi scholar noted that the statements of the hypocrites and the impercipient ‎must not obstacles for the believers ‎to carry out the rituals in memory of Imam al-Husayn.‎

The Friday prayer leader of Baghdad noted, “The Al Khalifah regime’s support for the attack ‎by the Zionist regime on the Popular Mobilization Forces ‎‎proved the falsehood of the pro-‎slogans of this dynasty.” ‎

The revered source of emulation stated that we have a duty not to surrender to the arrogant ‎powers and said, “Iran has no intention to attack others and no one has the power to attack ‎Iran.”‎

Hujjat al-Islam Ashtiani emphasized, “Like the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Hezbollah has ‎learned lessons from the schools of Imam al-Husayn and Ashura, which have shaken the ‎bodies of the Zionist regime and Zionists.”‎

Hujjat al-Islam ‎‎‎al-‎Qubanchi reiterated that the Zionist occupation regime is deeply afraid of ‎the followers of Imam Ali and Imam al-Husayn in Iraq.‎

One of the Iraqi scholars emphasized the necessity of using one’s youth to serve God ‎Almighty and serve society.‎ ‎

Hujjat al-Islam al-‎‎‎‎‎‎‎Karbala’i‎ stressed that worshipping this world and one’s sensual desires ‎lead to the gradual distancing of man from religion and Imam al-Husayn.‎

One of the sources of emulation in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf reiterated that the Muharram mourning ceremonies for Imam al-Husayn must be free from any form of deviation.

Shaykh Ahmad ibn Hamad al-Khalili, the Grand Mufti of Oman, responded to the letter of the Iranian source of emulation, Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani.
