Rasa News Agency reports – Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad-Hasan Rahimian, a trustee of the Holy Jamkaran Mosque, held a meeting with the servants of this holy shrine, where he emphasized the value of serving humanity, saying that there are many thousands of ahadith (traditions) regarding its importance and value.
Hujjat al-Islam Rahimian pointed out: “Service to the common people has many [divine] rewards. If someone wants to be a true Muslim, a religious Shi’ite, they should serve the pilgrims of Jamkaran Mosque and the lovers of Imam al-Mahdi. Certainly thousands of blessings will be written for them. Even in our traditions, the importance of service to God is compared to one thousand years of worship, only staying awake all night in worship is considered more valuable.”
His Eminence emphasized that working for the cause of mahdawiyah or messianism is the most important form of service to the culture of the Islamic Revolution and to the Islamic system of government. “If our actions are not done for the love or in the interest of Imam al-Mahdi, they will not bare any fruit.”
“This year, our 15th of the holy month of Sha’ban ceremony was celebrated by a wide variety of people with grandeur, majesty and order. It was a source of splendour for everyone,” Hujjat al-Islam Rahimian said in reference to the recent celebration of the birthday of the twelfth holy Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi.
Hujjat al-Islam Rahimian thanked those present for their services which made the celebration of this holy day more glorious. He explained that 90 different live programs were broadcasted by Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) alone. The efforts of the armed forces, the Red Crescent, the City of Qom government, the Qom provincial government and other organizations were part of the organizing team.
“Almost 100 organizations, both governmental and non-governmental, were mobilized to organize the celebrations. The various organizing groups worked as if they were performing jihad,” Hujjat al-Islam Rahimian explained.
He also referred to the 450 cultural programs that have been held at the Holy Jamkaran Mosque: “We are happy to announce that the Cultural Department of this mosque has organized a wide variety of programs, exhibitions, religious gatherings and study groups.”
Hujjat al-Islam Rahimian also explained that serving the Ahlul-Bayt is the best form of investment for the people. “True wealth is to have the love of the pure Imams in one’s heart. To accumulate material wealth, such as that which the Zionists hoard, is not true wealth, rather their wealth [leads to] hell in this world and the hereafter.”
Hujjat al-Islam Rahimian also thanked the lady servants of the Holy Jamkaran Mosque for their services: “Unfortunately, one of the biggest problems in our society is that some women dress badly and do not veil (wear hijab) properly. However, we have a large number of revolutionary and religious women who serve the pilgrims at this holy mosque.”
