US President Donald Trump is complaining that Fox News is having on liberal guests to talk about his impeachment, calling the move “pathetic.”

RNA - "Don’t get why @FoxNews puts losers on like @RepSwalwell (who got ZERO as presidential candidate before quitting), Pramila Jayapal, David Cicilline and others who are Radical Left Haters," he tweeted Monday.

In the tweet posted just hours after Fox News anchor Chris Wallace hosted Cicilline, a Democratic congressman from Rhode Island, on "Fox News Sunday," the US president further referenced the Democratic National Committee's decision to block Fox News from hosting a Democratic presidential primary debate.

“Dems wouldn’t let @FoxNews get near their bad ratings debates, yet Fox panders. Pathetic!”

Trump has been going after his favorite news outlet for a while over spending airtime on his impeachment inquiry underway in the US House.

Trump apparently tried to find dirt on his political rival, former Vice President Joe Biden, by pressuring Ukraine ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

“The focus is on the president’s misconduct, asking a foreign government to interfere in our elections. ... I think all of the potential articles of impeachment are on the table. That will be a decision the Judiciary Committee makes, but the Judiciary Committee will have all the evidence,” Cicilline said on "Fox News Sunday."

Wallace compared Monday the Trump impeachment with that of former President Bill Clinton, asserting that the allegations are "far broader” this time.

"I’m not talking about whether or not this story is true or not. But the allegation that President Trump conditioned support for a key foreign policy ally on political benefit to him strikes me as not narrow but far broader than the Clinton impeachment and the effort that was made by you and Republicans then to impeach him," Wallace said.
