RNA - “The Syrian Army has been dispatching troops and massive military equipment to Western and Southern Aleppo in preparation for military operations in Jamiat al-Zahra and Al-Rashedeen regions in Western Aleppo,” the Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper reported.
Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.
Aleppo
The Damascus Army troops are preparing for cleansing terrorists from Western Aleppo with the aim of restoring security to the center of the city as Tahrir al-Sham continues occupation of Northern Syria despite the pledges made by Turkey.
The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper reported that the Syrian Army has been dispatching troops and massive military equipment to Western and Southern Aleppo in preparation for military operations in Jamiat al-Zahra and Al-Rashedeen regions in Western Aleppo.
The newspaper pointed to the presence of 1,500 Syrian Army troops and their allies in Western Aleppo, and said that the terrorist groups have not retreated from the demilitarized zone despite lapse of six days since declaration of ceasefire by the Syrian Army there.
The military experts, meantime, announced that by driving back the terrorist groups from the Southern and Western battlefronts of Aleppo along Aleppo-Hama Highway, the Syrian Army has not only maintained the security of the city against mortar and rocket attacks by terrorists on residential areas, but it will also pave the way for reopening of this region’s international airport.
The Syrian Army troops have also foiled an attempt by the NFL terrorists to penetrate into military points in Southern Idlib.
Eastern Syria
The US new military aids destined for the Kurdish militias arrived in Eastern Syria as Turkey has issued an ultimatum to Washington to set up a safe zone along the borderline.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on Thursday that the US Coalition has dispatched around 150 trucks carrying military and logistics equipment and supplies to areas under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Eastern Syria from Northern Iraq.
The SOHR underlined that the over 2,600 trucks carrying military equipment have been sent by the Syrian Army after Washington and the SDF declared end to the ISIL terrorist group in Eastern Euphrates.
Meantime, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a new warning against the US on setting up a safe zone in Northeastern Syrian said that if this region is not formed by the end of September, Ankara will take unilateral action.
Idlib
The terrorists of Tahrir al-Sham have accused their ringleader Abu Mohammed al-Jolani of ordering the recent assassinations of the terrorist group’s senior commanders.
The wave of accusations came after it was exposed that al-Jolani had set up a special team to stop internal plots and international agreements against him.
According to Fars News Agancy, the Center for Syria Documents reported that Al-Jolani has covertly formed a special security team comprising devoted security elements whose main mission is to thwart any plot or international agreements in Idlib against al-Jolani.
It noted that Jolani’s team was comprised of 2,500 devoted militants who cooperate with clandestine networks in Idlib secretly and without knowledge of Tahrir al-Sham and other affiliated terrorist groups.
Jolani’s security team has been accused of assassinating several commanders of Tahrir al-Sham, including Abu Omar Saraqi who was named as the most important choice to succeed al-Jolani and was assassinated in 2016.
