A conference on Statement on the Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution has been held at Rasa News Agency with the aim of explaining the mission of the Islamic Seminaries and clergy with the presence of a number of senior scholars and personalities of the Islamic Seminaries. The meeting, which has been organized the “Seminaries and Scholars” section of Rasa News Agency, featured prominent scholars, including Ayatollah Mohammad-Hoseyn Ahmadi-Faqih-Yazdi, a teacher of dars al-kharij (graduate studies) in the Islamic Seminary, and Ayatollah Sayyed Hashem Bathaei, the representative of Tehran in the Assembly of Experts, Hujjat al-Islam Ali Abbasi, the dean of al-Mustafa International University, Hujjat al-Islam Abbas Rafati, a teacher of dars al-kharij in the Islamic Seminary and the spokesman of the Islamic Seminaries, Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Bonyadi, a member of the General Assembly of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, and Hujjat al-Islam Mohsen Mohajernia, a political scientist and a faculty member of the Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought.
The Islamic Revolution of Iran passed its fortieth anniversary and marked the fifth decade of its existence. Although its arrogant enemies had futile suppositions, its allies around the world helped it overcome the various challenges before it and it has experienced stunning progress, which is always something to be proud of.
At such a turning point, the wise Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution issued the “Statement on the Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution,” and, in order to continue this clear path, he explained the remarkable achievements of the past four decades and made fundamental recommendations for the “great jihad to build a great Islamic Iran.”
The “Statement on the Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution” is a informed appeal to the Iranian people, and in particular the youth, and will serve as a charter for the “second phase of self-building, social building and civilization building” and will mark the “new chapter in the life of the Islamic Republic.” This second phase will bring the Islamic Revolution close to its great ideal to create a new Islamic civilization and prepare for the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi.
