Golan Heights
The local population in Syria's Golan Heights held protest rallies to deplore US President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Israel's annexation of the occupied region.
SANA news agency reported that the residents of the villages of Majdal al-Shams, Baqa'atha, Mas'adeh, Ain Qineh in occupied Golan rallied in Baqa'atha to blast Trump's measure.
They carried Syria's flag, chanting slogans against Trump's "illegal" remarks and stressing the Arab nature of Golan.
The protestors underlined continued resistance against the US-Israeli plots and measures, saying that occupied Golan should be liberated and return to Syria.
Trump last Monday formally recognized Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Golan Heights, reversing decades of United State's policy. The announcement came as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the White House in a trip.
World nations and prominent international rights groups condemned the recent decision by Trump to recognize Israel’s “sovereignty” over the Golan Heights, which has been under the Tel Aviv regime’s occupation for more than 50 years but belongs to Syria.
Aleppo
The pro-militant White Helmets Organization in collaboration with the Western spy agencies are planning to carry out a fake chemical attack in Hama and Aleppo to later accuse the Syrian Army of the incident and annul the Turkish-Russian agreement.
The Arabic-language al-Mayadeen news channel quoted a local source in Aleppo as saying that the White Helmets have transferred a number of barrels containing toxic materials from their bases in Idlib to Northern Hama.
According to Fars News Agancy, he added that the terrorists are plotting to launch a new false-flag chemical attack in cooperation with the western intelligence agents, noting that the scenario is due to be implemented in the demilitarized zone in Northern Hama and Aleppo where Jeish al-Izza terrorists are stationed.
The source said that the aim of such provocative acts is defeating the plans to return control of Idlib to the Syrian government without any conflicts, adding that the plot was hatched after commanders of Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front), Horras al-Din and Turkistani terrorist groups rejected a Turkish-Russian plan to give in the control of Idlib to the Syrian government.
