RNA - A military source said on Friday that the underground arms depots were found by the engineering units of the Syrian army.

"They belonged to the terrorists stationed in Southern Syria a few months ago," he added.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

Damascus-Quneitra

The Syrian army discovered several caches of arms and military equipment, which also contained US and Israeli missiles, during cleansing operations in Southern Syria.

The underground arms depots were found by the engineering units of the Syrian army, a military source said on Friday, adding that they belonged to the terrorists stationed in Southern Syria a few months ago.

He added that the Syrian army forces discovered several US-made TOW missiles, Israeli missiles, tens of Grad missiles, different types of machine-guns, sniper guns, cannons, mortars and thousands of different rounds and ammunition.

This is not the first time that the Israeli and the US footprints are found in the terrorists' strongholds in Syria.

The Syrian army last month discovered a large number of US, Western, Israeli and Saudi weapons and equipment near Damascus and Quneitra.

The engineering units of the Syrian army found a cache of weapons, including US-made anti-tank missiles and a large number of West-made guns and heavy machine-guns as well as different types of ammunition, during purging operations in Southwestern Damascus and Quneitra.

They also discovered and seized several US and western communications systems, medical equipment and a large amount of Israeli, Jordanian and Saudi drugs.

Hama-Idlib

The Syrian army attacked the positions and moves of Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) terrorist group in response to their continued offensives from the demilitarized zone in Northern Hama and Southern Idlib.

The Syrian army forces launched heavy artillery strikes against the positions and moves of Tahrir al-Sham in the towns of al-Sharia'h and Tal al-Sakhar on Friday in response to the terrorists' attacks against military areas.

During the attacks, the Syrian army smashed several hideouts, military vehicles, weapons and equipment of the militants, leaving a bunch of the terrorists dead and wounded.

Meantime, the artillery units of the Syrian army targeted the terrorists' positions in Khan Sheikhoun and al-Khuwain, killing a number of the terrorists and destroying their military equipment.

Raqqa

The bodies of over 300 victims of the ISIL and the US air raids, including those of slain women and children, were discovered in mass-graves and from under the rubles of destroyed buildings in Raqqa.

The Kurdish-language Hawar News quoted Head of Raqqa's Rescue Team Yasser al-Khamis as saying that the corpses of 304 people have been unearthed from a mass-grave in Fakhikheh region in Southern Raqqa since early January.

He added that most of the bodies belong to the civilians, including women and children, noting that some of the victims had been executed.

Meantime, media activists reported that bodies of several civilians, most of them women and children, were pulled out of the debris in al-Adkhar and al-Ta'aminat districts of Raqqa in the past few days.

They said the corpses belong to the people killed by the ISIL terrorists or in the US coalition airstrikes on Raqqa.

Homs

The Syrian army strengthened its positions in Badiyeh (desert) region of Homs province in line with preparations for an operation to purge the remaining ISIL terrorists from the region.

Field sources reported on Friday that the Syrian army has sent a large military convoy, consisting of hundreds of forces and military equipment, to its bases on Deir Ezzur-al-Sukhna road in the Eastern Badiyeh of Homs.

They added that the military convoy has been dispatched to the region after the ISIL terrorists' offensives against the military points in Badiyeh, noting that the Syrian army intends to fully cleanse the region from the remnants of the terrorists.

Meantime, the Syrian army forces attacked ISIL's movements with artillery and missile fire on the road linking Hamimeh region and T2 station in Eastern Homs, destroying several targets and leaving a number of militants dead.

Deir Ezzur

Large groups of people in Eastern Deir Ezzur held another protest rally against the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces, while a new round of infighting has started among the SDF forces after rifts widened among the militias, media activists said.

According to Fars News Agancy, the activists reported from Deir Ezzur on Friday that a large number of civilians in the town of al-Kasrah in Eastern Deir Ezzur staged rally against the SDF measures, corruption and hoarding fuel.

They added that the SDF tried to suppress the protest rallies by closing the roads leading to the town and arresting people.

Meantime, the sources said that clashes have started between the Kurdish and Arab militants affiliated to the SDF in Eastern Deir Ezzur, adding that 5 of these forces have recently been killed by one of their commanders named Hassan Darwish.

Also reports said that a bomb explosion by unknown people in the town of Ra'as al-Ain in Northwestern Hasaka has killed a senior commander of the Kurds named Baran Sarhad.
