The United States is providing its Middle Eastern allies like Saudi Arabia with nuclear technology in order to escalate arms race in the region, says a commentator. RNA - The US has approved six authorizations that allow American companies to secretly provide Saudi Arabia with nuclear technology or technical assistance, according to a report released on Wednesday by Reuters.
In an interview with Press on Thursday, Saeed Shehabi, a political commentator and Middle East expert, said that “they (American officials) want to arm Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Israel; so, it is a tri-pillar policy in order to subjugate all the reformist and progressive movements” in the region.
“Whether they (Americans) will succeed or not is doubtful, but it is a very serious escalation of arms race and nuclear race in the Middle East,” Shehabi warned.
