Pundit:
The United States’ decision to sell nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia will provide the kingdom with the opportunity to develop nukes, says a commentator.

RNA - US Energy Secretary Rick Perry has had held talks with Saudi officials on a possible nuclear deal. In response, American legislators have introduced legislation to ensure congressional oversight of any civilian nuclear agreement signed between Washington and Riyadh.

Scott Rickard, former American intelligence linguist, told Press TV on Friday that “the Americans have constantly provided nuclear technology to their allies in the region.”

The linguist warned that the US is trusting Saudi Arabia with the energy-based nuclear program, whereas the Saudis might be “getting the opportunity to create a nuclear bomb.”

Meanwhile, David Yaghoubian, professor of history at the CSU San Bernardino University, told Press TV’s News Review program that the United States is going to sell nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia, which has been aiding and abetting terrorist groups in the Middle East.

“The Saudis have had a multi-decade long track record of supporting Takfiri terrorism and the destabilization of the region to advance their Wahhabi ideology and as well have played a major role in the continued advancement of the American military industrial complex,” Yaghoubian said.
