The US Army sent military and armored vehicles and soldiers to Raqqa to confront massive protests by the city residents.

RNA - The Arabic-language service of the Russian Sputnik news agency reported that Raqqa City's residents held massive protests against the presence of the US Army troops and their allied militants in the region.

"The US Army and the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are now in a state of alert in a bid to be ready to disperse the people who are staging protests in Raqqa City," it said.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in several provinces across Syria.

Raqqa

The US Army has deployed armored vehicles and dispatched soldiers to the Raqqa to suppress massive protests by the city residents, media reports said.

The residents of Raqqa City held large-scale protests against the presence of the US Army troops and their allied militants in the region, the Arabic-language service of the Russian Sputnik news agency reported.

It noted that the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces is now in a state of alert in a bid to be ready to disperse the people who are staging protests.

Meantime, SDF's security commander Hafal Shifo was gunned down by unknown assailants in the Youth residential area of Raqqa City while two of his aides were also seriously injured.

Shifo was a notorious commander responsible for arresting and torturing thousands of civilians in Raqqa City, specially in the recent popular unrests West of Raqqa City.

Syria's Artifacts, ISIL's Foreign Commanders Transferred to Turkey by Kurdish Fighters, Ankara-Backed Militants

More than 142 families of ISIL commanders and foreign militants together with Syria's historic monuments have been relocated to Turkey from Eastern Euphrates with the help of the US-backed Kurdish fighters and Ankara's allied militants, Arab media reports said.

The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper quoted dissident sources as saying that a network comprising tens of Syrian Democratic Forces and Ankara-backed militants transferred the historic monuments as well as the ISIL commanders, terrorists and their families to Northern Aleppo and from there to Turkey.

The sources explained that over 142 families of the ISIL commanders and terrorists have been relocated to Turkey from Eastern Euphrates on military vehicles after paying cash up to $90,000.

Meantime, a number of Syrian militants and their families have also moved towards Idlib province.
