RNA – The first one-day session of the symposium on “Review of the Strategies For Combatting Zionism,” with an emphasis on cultural struggle and soft war, was held in the conference hall of Rasa News Agency in Qom.
Speaking at the symposium, Khalid Qadoumi, the representative of the Hamas Islamic Resistance Movement in Tehran, said, “The enemies want to achieve their objectives by strengthening Israel and the Zionist regime is the only political and economic base for the arrogant powers.”
“The new challenge seems to be soft or violent power but we want to say that instead of these two powers, intelligent power is important and the two sources – soft and violent – are in favour of one culture or civilization in the region,” he said.
Qadoumi said, “The [enemies’] main objectives are the weapons of resistance and the Islamic Resistance Axis. Therefore, from the force of power and strength of soft war, we will achieve the results of a strategy that benefits Israel and the hegemonic powers in the region.”
He said that our enemies didn’t achieve their objectives with force of power and said, “Since 2007, there have been several wars launched against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip but the [Israelis] have not succeeded in achieving their goals.”
Qadoumi added, “The Islamic Resistance Axis must come to the scene and the divisions must be eliminated. Today, the Iranians came to the conclusion that the enemies are the cause of Iran’s economic problems and the Zionist regime is the main challenger of Iran’s foreign policy and this issue is a model and a lesson for the Islamic Resistance Axis.”
