RNA – At the 20th Annual Seminary Book of the Year Conference and the Second Annual Festival of Academic Articles of the Islamic Seminary held at the Dar al-Shafa Seminary in Qom, several important works were honoured in the presence of Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem-Shirazi, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi and other revered scholars and researchers of the Islamic Seminary of Qom.
Speaking at the conference, Ayatollah Arafi, the head of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran, explained the issues of writing academic and seminarial books and the necessities of research in the Seminary.
A presentation of a report by the secretary of the conference and a speech by Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi was one of the other programs of the conference.
At the conference, some of the awards given are as follows:
Philosophy: Ayatollah Gholam-Reza Fayyazi and Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mohammad-Mahdi Nabavian for their compilation of the book “Inquiries Into Islamic Philosophy.”
Ethics and Mysticism: Masoud Esmaeili for his compilation of the book “The Essence of Mystical Knowledge” and Ahmad-Hoseyn Sharifi for “The Encyclopedia of Applied Ethics”
Hadith, Dirayah and Rijal: Hujjat al-Islam Mahmoud Maleki for his compilation of his dissertation on open source research on al-Kafi.
Academic and promotional works on the Islamic Revolution: Hujjat al-Islam Abdol-Hoseyn Khosropanah for his compilation of the poems of Imam Khomeyni and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei.
