Israeli fighter jets on Tuesday evening bombed a Palestinian resistance post North of the Gaza Strip, after one Palestinian was killed while four others were injured as Israeli forces shelled the strip.

RNA - Israeli aircrafts fired several missiles at a resistance site in Beit Lahia city with no injuries reported. Israeli F16 planes bombed the site at least four times causing huge explosions and severe damages to the neighboring houses, Palinfo reported.

Earlier on Tuesday, a Palestinian youth was killed and four others injured, one of whom is in critical condition, in Israeli shelling East of al-Bureij refugee camp.

The shelling followed allegations that an Israeli soldier was injured at the border fence separating the Gaza Strip from the Palestinian territories occupied since 1948.

Spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, Fawzi Barhoum, in an official statement condemned the attack and held Israel responsible for the escalation.

Barhoum stressed that the Palestinian resistance groups in Gaza will not allow the Israelis to "use the blood of the Palestinian people as fuel for their election campaigns".
