The Russian fighter jets pounded and destroyed the military positions of Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) terrorists in Southern and Southwestern Idlib amid continued attacks by the militants on the Syrian Army's military positions from the demilitarized zone.

RNA - "The Russian warplanes struck the military positions and arms and ammunition depots of Tahrir al-Sham in the towns of Khan al-Sabal, al-Janoudieh to South and West of Idlib province," the Arabic-language service of Russian Sputnik news agency quoted a military source as saying.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

Idlib

The Russian fighter jets pounded and destroyed the military positions of Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at terrorists in Southern and Southwestern Idlib amid continued attacks by the militants on the Syrian Army's military positions from the demilitarized zone.

The Arabic-language service of Russian Sputnik news agency quoted a military source as saying that the Russian warplanes struck the military positions and arms and ammunition depots of Tahrir al-Sham in the towns of Khan al-Sabal, al-Janoudieh to South and West of Idlib province.

It reiterated that the attacks occurred after monitoring preparations by Tahrir al-Sham to attack the Syrian Army's military positions in Idlib, Lattakia and Hama.

Meantime, other Syrian Army's units pounded the terrorists' movements from Beit al-Ras village to the Syrian Army positions in Northern Hama, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their military equipment.

The Syrian Army also warded off the terrorists' attacks from Kafar Zita to Northwestern Hama, inflicting heavy losses on terrorists.

Meantime, the Syrian Army's artillery units targeted and destroyed several military positions of Jeish al-Izza in Wadi al-Durat region, East of the town of al-Latamineh in Northern Hama.

Aleppo

A number of the Ankara-backed militants were killed and wounded in a military raid by the Kurdish forces in Afrin in Northwestern Aleppo, media reports said.

The Kurdish fighters during their military operations against the Turkish Army and its affiliated militants in Afrin region pounded the Turkey-backed militants' positions and movements in the village of Khaleteh in Afrin region in Northwestern Aleppo, killing at least eight militants of Sultan Murat and Jbahat al-Shamia as well as wounding three others, the Kurdish media Hawar News reported.

It noted that the Kurdish fighters' raid on the military positions of Farqa al-Hamza in the village of Kimar in Shirawa region killed four terrorists, including a terrorist commander and wounded three others.

The Kurdish militants also exploded a bomb in the command center of Faylaq al-Rahman terrorist group and the military police affiliated to Ankara in Marimin village in Shara region, killing four terrorists and wounding two others.

Several other Ankara-backed terrorists were also killed and wounded during the Kurdish fighters' military operations in Shara region.

Hasaka

Several American forces and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters were killed and wounded after a car bomb blast on the way of a US military convoy in Southern Hasaka in Northeastern Syria.

According to Fars News Agancy, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Monday that a bomb-laden vehicle was detonated as a US convoy was moving on Hasaka-Raqqa road along with the SDF militants near al-Shadadi region in Southern Hasaka.

It added that a suicide bomber was also inside the vehicle, noting that at least 5 SDF fighters were killed and 2 US forces were wounded in the attack.

The blast came 5 days after several American soldiers were killed in a similar suicide attack in Manbij in Northeastern Syria.

A huge explosion at the center of Manbij in Northeastern Aleppo killed and wounded over 30 people, including several US soldiers on Wednesday.
