Iran:
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi denounced the recent remarks made by the US President Donald Trump, and said that he makes impossible, unrealistic, and unattainable wishes in his speeches.

RNA - Qassemi lashed out at Trump for making claims that Tehran was willing to negotiate, saying "he simply makes impossible, unrealistic, and unattainable wishes in his speeches."

In a statement earlier on Monday, the spokesman said "as has always been the case, president of the United States has not learnt a lesson from the developments during the recent decades and has neglected the wrong policies of his predecessors towards our region and the Islamic Republic; he has once again made irrational and hate speeches towards the people of Iran, which repeats the same greedy and ambitious dreams of medieval and extinct powers”.

"US' fantasy and hostile measures have led nowhere, in spite of all their vengeful efforts towards the Iranian people, and will certainly not do in the future," he added.

"Trump simply makes impossible, unrealistic, and unattainable wishes, which do not match reality in any way," Qassemi noted, adding "he is well aware of the fact that the Islamic Republic of Iran is used to US sanctions; we've had them for decades”.

Qassemi stressed "Iranian nation will never yield to the cruel pressures of the United States; they will never bend to those who are talking with the language of sanctions and build walls instead of bridges."

“Through their honorable, though full of ups and downs history, Iranian nation have learnt how to resist against the oppressors,” he added.

Trump claimed on Sunday that the sanctions on Iran are affecting its economy, since US withdrawal from nuclear deal. "They (Iranians) are not in a good situation. They want talks," he said.

According to Fars News Agancy, contrary to Trump’s claims, Economy Minister Farhad Dejpasand asserted on Saturday that Iran’s economic cooperation with other countries is growing, reassuring that US plots against the country’s economy will not get realized.

“Enemies' troubled dreams against Islamic Iran will not come true and after a period of crisis, the situation will be improved,” he highlighted.

In a related front, Iranian First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri said on Saturday that the Americans have taken aim at the Iranian people’s livelihood but their dream to bring Iran’s oil sales to zero was not fulfilled.

Jahangiri said that the Americans have taken aim at the Iranian people’s livelihood, as they impose sanctions on basic goods and raw materials needed for production.

“US is trying to stop major Iranian income resource, that’s to say oil sales, as they in their own imagination wanted to bring oil sales to zero but they failed with the grace of God,” he said.
