RNA - The army's artillery units pounded terrorists' movements in the demilitarized zone near the towns of al-Latamina, al-Zakat and al-Jisat in Northern Hama, and repelled their impending attack on government forces' positions in the village of al-Zalaqiyat.

Other artillery units targeted the movements of Turkistani Islamic Party and Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) in al-Khowein and al-Tamanna in Southeastern Idlib.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

Hama-Idlib

The Syrian Army opened heavy fire at terrorists' movements in the demilitarized zone in Northern Hama and Southern Idlib on Sunday, and managed to preempt their attacks after inflicting major losses on them.

The army's artillery units pounded terrorists' movements in the demilitarized zone near the towns of al-Latamina, al-Zakat and al-Jisat in Northern Hama, and repelled their impending attack on government forces' positions in the village of al-Zalaqiyat.

The terrorists suffered heavy casualties and their military hardware sustained major damage in the army's artillery fire.

In the meantime, other artillery units of the army opened heavy fire at a group of terrorists that tried to approach government forces' positions in the village of al-Hamaiyat North of the small town of Mahradah via their regions in the small towns of al-Jisat and Tal al-Sakhar, killing and wounding a number of them.

Other artillery units targeted the movements of Turkistani Islamic Party and Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) in al-Khowein and al-Tamanna in Southeastern Idlib.

In the meantime, the artillery units, in a heavy fire, destroyed Tahrir al-Sham's new hardware in Skeik in Southeastern Idlib that inflicted major casualties on the group too.

Aleppo-Lattakia

A number of Syrian military convoys, carrying troops and hardware, have arrived in frontlines in Idlib, Hama, Aleppo and Lattakia provinces in recent days to launch a large-scale operation against Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) and its allied terrorist groups, a military source said.

The source reported that hundreds of army soldiers and a large volume of military equipment have deployed in Kinsaba in Northeastern Lattakia in the recent days.

The source further said that a large number of Syrian forces have been relocated from their positions in Busra al-Sham in Eastern Dara'a to Northern Hama, adding that over 30 military vehicles have also been deployed in al-Zahabiyah and Tal Azou regions in Southeastern Idlib.

"Also, hundreds of well-equipped army soldiers have deployed in contact lines with the terrorists in Aleppo province," the source said, adding that the army forces are now ready to kick off a final  operation in the Northern and Northwestern parts of the country.

The terrorists' refusal to implement the Sochi Agreement to establish a demilitarized zone is pushing the army to initiate its long-waited assault on militants in Idlib that had been put on hold due to the Sochi Agreement.

Hasaka

A sum of 400 US army men have arrived in a US-run military base in Hasaka province to allegedly assist Kurdish militia to prevent a possible attack by the Turkish army on the Kurds on the Eastern bank of the Euphrates River, a militant-affiliated media outlet reported on Sunday.

Al-Neda news website reported that a sum of 400 US soldiers have arrived in Romeilan military base near the town of Qamishli in Northern Hasaka near the border with Turkey to further deploy to the US-run bases on the Eastern bank of the Euphrates river.

It further pointed to the deployment of Kurdish militia and US soldiers in the US-run observation posts along Syria's border with Turkey, and said that the newly arrived soldiers will possibly shoulder responsibility of the posts.

Al-Neda went on to say that the Kurdish militias have seized several schools and residential buildings in the villages of al-Hasrajiyah and al-Manbatah and in the small town of Solouk in Northern Raqqa to turn them into observation posts and hand them over to the US soldiers.

In the meantime, the Syrian Democratic Forces dispatched a fresh convoy of forces to Northern Raqqa at the borderline with Turkey to reinvigorate their front to counter any possible attack by Ankara forces.

The news website added that the US forces plan to set up more observation posts in the region to block the Turkish army's routes for an attack on the Kurds.
