RNA - "The legal commission approved that the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought is required to file a lawsuit against the US with the international legal bodies, on behalf of the member states which participated in the International Conference on Islamic Unity (in Tehran on Saturday), for the relocation of its embassy from Tel Aviv to the holy Quds, which is the permanent capital of Palestine," said a statement issued at the end of a meeting of the legal commission of the International Conference on Islamic Unity in Tehran on Monday.

It also called for the prosecution of Washington by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought for pursuing the Deal of the Century plot against the Palestinians and for judaization of Palestine.

The 32nd International Islamic Unity Conference with the theme of 'Quds, Axis of Unity among Ummah' was held in Tehran on Saturday with participation of Muslim figures, politicians and elites from across the world.

Addressing the conference on Saturday, Leader of the Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas Ismail Haniyeh underlined that Palestinians would not allow US President Donald Trump to implement his "Deal of the Century" plot in their territories.

"The Palestinian issue is the issue of all world Muslims and freedom-seekers and we do not allow the Deal of Century plot to be implemented," Haniyeh said through a video conference.

"Trump is not able to give Quds to the Zionists with force," he added.

The so-called Deal of Century, a backchannel plan to allegedly reach a peace settlement between Israel and the Palestinians, was proposed by the US administration late last year. Although the plan has not been released, leaks signal it will consist of the same tried and failed ideas.

Palestinians believe that the deal suggests building their own Jerusalem al-Quds from areas surrounding the existing city and forget about the historic place. They also believe that the US-drafted plan calls for keeping borders and security under Israeli control, while it keeps Israeli settlements’ final borders to be discussed in later negotiations.

In relevant remarks last July, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei underlined that the US dreams to implement the 'deal of the century' plot in the Palestinian territories would never come true, stressing that Quds would remain the Palestinians' capital forever.

"Now, the Americans have named their satanic policy on Palestine as the deal of the century and with God's help, this deal of the century will never be materialized and despite the American statesmen's desire, the Palestinian issue will not be forgotten and Quds will remain as the Palestinians' capital," Ayatollah Khamenei said, addressing officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Tehran.

He blasted certain Muslim governments for assisting Washington in implementing its plots against the region, and said, "The Islamic Ummah and the Palestinian nation will gain victory against their enemies and will see the day when the fake Zionist regime will be uprooted in the Palestinian territories."
