RNA - The Syrian army's artillery and missile units targeted Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) terrorists and their allies in areas near the town of Halfaya in Northern Hama.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

Hama

The Syrian army troops warded off the terrorist groups' new attacks on their positions in the weapons-free zone in Northern Hama.

The army units targeted with artillery and missile fire Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at and their allies in areas near the town of al-Latamineh who aimed to infiltrate into the army-held regions near the town of Halfaya in Northern Hama.

The clashes left heavy tolls on the militants, forcing others to flee the region.

Meantime, the Syrian army forces attacked the terrorists' moves in the village of Lahaya who wanted to infiltrate into the army points, killing a number of them.

Field sources in Northern Syria reported that the Syrian army soldiers in Qalat Shalaf region in Northeastern Lattakia have been put on alert after the terrorists' heavy attacks against the army positions in the demilitarized zone.

The terrorists' refusal to implement the Sochi Agreement to establish a demilitarized zone is pushing the army to initiate its long-waited assault on militants in Idlib that had been put on hold due to the Sochi Agreement.

Aleppo

Militants supported by Ankara have taken hostage a number of civilians in Afrin in Northwestern Aleppo as tensions between the Turkish army and its affiliated terrorists have heightened.

The Arabic-language service of Hawar news reported on Sunday that the militants have also planted bombs in the houses of civilians to detonate them if the Turkish army approaches them.

Meantime, reports said that a military convoy of the so-called National Free Army affiliated to the Turkish army has recently arrived in Afrin to help end infighting among the Ankara-backed militants.

An informed source said that Ankara plans to quell the terrorist groups which oppose Turkey's policies in Northern Syria, adding that these clashes would spread from Afrin to the Northern parts of Aleppo, including al-Ra'ei and Jandaris.

Deir Ezzur

At least 20 civilians, including women and children, were killed in the US-led coalition fighter jets' continued attacks on Eastern Deir Ezzur.
