The objective of American Sunnism and British Shi’ism is to prevent the formation of a united ummah
RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Seyyed Mohammad Hoseyni, the secretary-general of the Iranian Students’ Association, said that the American-supported Sunnis and the British-supported Shi’ahs seek to provoke discord and dissension among the Muslim ummah in the name of defending Islam and said, “In the current era, the West considers Islam and Muslims to be their greatest rivals and for this reason, they have put plans in place to create divisiveness into Islamic societies.”
He added, “They create religions, sects and movements among Muslims and try to spread hostility and hatred among the Islamic ummah and engage Muslims so that they ignore their main enemies – the colonialist powers and evil governments, such as the United States.”
He said the objective of the arrogant and colonialist powers of the world in the creation of dissension among Muslims is to divide the Islamic ummah and stated, “Through unity, Muslims will become a united and massive force. With more than 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide, if Muslims don’t unite with each other, they can’t act as a single unit in a coherent way, defend their rights and prevent attacks by the enemies.”
Seyyed Hoseyni said that the mercenaries and oppressors of the world have so far inflicted wars against Muslims by using the tools of divisiveness and added, “Unfortunately, the enemies, with their influence in the Islamic world, choose some agents and individuals with weak faith from among the Muslims and take them along with them. By connecting their interests to supporting Western powers, they create the grounds for the cause of divisions and wars in the Islamic world and the current war in Yemen is the result of such a policy.”
He said, “Today the United States has guaranteed to the House of Saud that the continuation of its government depends on the creation of insecurity and divisiveness among Muslims and the creation of constant conflict against pure Islam and the school of the Ahlul-Bayt. Therefore, the secret of the support of the United States for the Saudi regime is to weaken the Islamic world.”
He said that the objective of the American-supported Sunnis and the British-supported Shi’ahs is to prevent the formation of a united ummah and explained, “The enemies have provided financial and media facilities to some Shi’ahs in order for them to spark disagreements among Muslims. By cursing the caliphs, they can provoke the emotions and feelings of Sunnis such that they will engage in acts of revengeful. What has happened with the Taliban and Daesh is the result of the spreading of dissension in the Islamic world by the enemies.”
Seyyed Hoseyni stressed that the American-supported Sunnis and the British-supported Shi’ahs are two blades of a pair of scissors who seek to cut up Islam and added, “Muslims must be vigilant and aware and know that any group that seeks to provoke dissension and divisiveness among Muslims is on a mission from the enemies.”
He added, “Fortunately, the Muslims have overcome this difficult stage and have taken the case of Daesh and the likes of it as a great lesson for the Islamic world. Today, the nature of the House of Saud is apparent. If, in the past, some people were sceptical about this issue, today they know that the Wahhabi mission is to create divisiveness in the Islamic world and prevent its unity and power.”
